Contraction Timer
Time your contractions and track duration and frequency as labor progresses.
About this calculator
Tap Start contraction when one begins and End contraction when it stops. Each contraction is logged with its start time, duration, and time since the previous one started, so you can see duration and frequency trends at a glance. Entries are saved in your browser so a page refresh during labor won't lose your log.
Frequently asked questions
- When should I call my provider?
- A commonly used guide is the "5-1-1 rule": contractions about 5 minutes apart, lasting about 1 minute each, for at least an hour. Always follow your own provider's specific instructions over any general rule, and call sooner if anything feels wrong.
- Is this data saved anywhere?
- Your contraction log is saved only in your browser's local storage on this device, not on a server. Use Clear all to remove it once you no longer need it.
